Fridays Hours

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are writing to let you know about a change to our Friday opening hours that will take effect from September 2026. After reviewing all children’s hours, staffing capacity and operational requirements, we are no longer able to remain open until 6pm on Fridays.

From September 2026, our Friday closing times will be:

• Preschool: 5.00pm
• Out of School Club: 4.45pm

We are sharing this information now to give families plenty of time to make any necessary arrangements. There are no later collection options available on Fridays, so all children must be collected by the revised closing times.

Can we just remind everyone that if you pick up after our closing time, even 1 minute after, you will be charged £5 per child/per 15 minutes. If this is repeated your childcare with us will be discontinued.  If you pick up later than your booked in time, you will be automatically charged for the next session. You can collect your child anytime up until your booked in time, not after as we may not have enough staff / child ratio.

Please be assured that we continually review staff hours and collection times to keep overall costs to families as low as possible while maintaining strong ratios across the setting. These adjustments help us ensure that our provision remains safe, sustainable, and high‑quality for all children.
